The Sinner (TV Series, USA Network 2017)

The Sinner is a murder mystery. But, it's not a whodunit because we are given that up front. The mystery here is why. Why would a seemingly normal housewife/mother randomly go up to a man on the beach and knife him to death? Even before the murder though we get a feeling something isn't quite right with Cora Tannetti played by Jessica Biel. Bill Pullman plays detective Harry Ambrose who is trying to figure out what is really going on with Cora and why she did what seems to be this motiveless crime. And Harry himself is an interesting character with his fetishes. At times this series can be a little sexually graphic for a non-premium channel so keep the kiddies away from this one. There is a dream like quality to the episodes.You begin to think in the second episode oh I see what's going on here then nope you don't. The third episode airs Wednesday 08/16 at 10pm. If you like a story that gives you the feeling you're on uncertain footing than this is for you. I'm sticking with it.
